OUR FARM STORY - part 3

We originally thought we'd turn the Guest House into a vacation rental, the Carriage House into a little design/paint studio, and utilize all of the other outbuildings for photo shoots and events. We quickly realized we couldn't do ALL of these things well. We needed to focus on doing one thing well, and then adding to it.

It didn't take us long do decide to change paths a bit and slowly try to build up the farm to be sustainable. Something that can be left to the girls and be a joy, not a burden. This meant Matt continuing to focus on construction, and me focusing more on the girls, the vacation rental and slowly growing the farm….and only doing design business for Matt’s customers.

We believe that good things take time, from restoring old homes to producing clean, healthy beef and raw milk. There are no short cuts.

We commit to consistently provide the finest quality in whatever we do. Whether that is remodeling a home, providing a vacation rental for travelers, or producing clean and nutritious grass fed beef or raw milk.

We believe that healthy animals (and kids) live in open spaces with lots of sunshine, and don’t need extra hormones, chemicals or antibiotics. And we believe that working together makes us a stronger family that nurtures the land and livestock with hard work and dedication.

We don’t know what the future holds, but we know who holds the future! And we can’t wait to see what He has in store!
