A BEAUTIFUL BARN || Matt's latest construction project

For over the past year, we have been working with the most wonderful client. She wanted a “beautiful barn” for her lovely organic hazelnut farm.

Her modern home is located fairly close to the barn, and we wanted the barn to blend in well with the country side and her home. The siding is a burned cedar siding that is so beautiful in person, the pictures don’t do it justice! All of the other exterior surfaces are glass, black metal and concrete.

The interior is all stained cedar siding. It’s a beautiful balance or rustic, modern and timeless.

The loft floor is white oak. It’s beautiful and adds to the organic feel of the space. Matt had a local metal fabricator build the loft rail, and the exterior deck rail is very similar!

The bathroom is darling! I love the simplicity of it, yet it’s still darling and fits perfectly with the barn. Matt also built some cabinetry out of white oak and gave her a nice little work area to wash hands, prep food, or whatever she wants to use that space for.

We are so incredibly blessed to work for such wonderful people, and Sue was no exception!
